Vision Oregon is OBI’s largest event of the year, bringing together business, community and political leaders to celebrate achievement and discuss timely issues. During the event, OBI presents its highest honor, the Oregon Visionary Award, welcomes keynote speakers and expert panelists and announces the winner of the annual Coolest Thing Made in Oregon contest.
This year’s theme is Oregon’s Bounty: Growing and Making What the World Wants. Following remarks by Mike Thelin of Food Forward, there will be a panel discussion featuring Bradley DePuyt of Fort George Brewery (moderator), Sara Duckwall of Duckwall Fruit, Bobbi Harrold Frost of Harrold’s Dairy and Dan Occhipinti of Pacific Seafood.
Also, the Oregon Visionary Award will be presented to two companies, ENTEK and Threemile Canyon Farms. And the annual Coolest Thing Made in Oregon contest will conclude with the announcement of this year’s winner (go here to vote in the round of eight).
Vision Oregon will take place on Oct. 28 at the Portland Art Museum. Social hour will begin at 3:30 p.m., and the program will begin at 4:30 p.m.
