In June 2026, EC Works secured a direct service waiver at the request of Lake County Commissioners to deliver WIOA Title 1 Adult, Dislocated Worker, and Youth services in Lake County beginning July 1, 2026.

All services are delivered at the WorkSource Lakeview office: 223 N F St, Lakeview, OR 97630.

Whether you’re looking for your first job, returning to work after a layoff, changing careers, or building new skills, WorkSource Oregon Adult Services is here to help. We provide free employment and training services designed to help adults achieve their career goals while connecting local employers with a skilled workforce.

Eligible participants may receive individualized career services, including:

• Career exploration and employment planning
• Resume development and interview preparation
• Job search assistance and referrals to local employers
• Skills assessments and career coaching
• Training opportunities for in-demand occupations
• Work readiness and employment preparation services
• Supportive services that help remove barriers to employment, such as transportation, work-related expenses, or other eligible needs

Our team works one-on-one with participants to develop a personalized employment plan based on their goals, experience, and the needs of the local labor market. Whether you’re seeking immediate employment or pursuing education and training for a new career, we’re here to support you every step of the way.

Youth Services (Youth Compass)

The Youth Compass Program is designed to help young people build a pathway toward education, training, and meaningful employment. Serving youth ages 16–24, the program focuses on supporting individuals who may be facing barriers to school, work, or long-term career success, with a strong emphasis on out-of-school youth.

Services are tailored to each participant’s goals and circumstances and may include:

• Career exploration
• Education support
• GED preparation
• Paid and unpaid work experiences
• Occupational skills training
• Mentorship
• Leadership development
• Supportive services
• Job placement assistance
